Dear Mr. Mitchell–I wanted to thank you for sharing your story on Focus on the Family. I recently
became aquainted with a young man who had been raised in foster care, and I was always
wondering how I could show him a little of how much I cared about him. I was helping some
friends of my family bake for
farmers market, so I always made sure he got a cookie every
Friday when I made them. It didn't seem like much but after I
heard your story on the radio I realized that probably counted for more than I ever thought. My
heart just went out to him and my life will never be the same for having this experience. Thank
