You can tell that as the author wrote this he was recalling everythign from his past.
The emotions and events presented in it are truly amazing and everyone could learn a

glimpses of your face and heard echos of your voice in the (at-risk) children we loved on

I just wanted to thank you again for sharing your story at Goshen Valley Boys Ranch.
We were all truly blessed and touched by your story and wisdom you shared.
I wanted to share with you some of the immediate feed back.
The next day I had several boys come up to me to proudly announce what page they
were on in your book, several boys were already well into it and sharing with how they
so much identified with it.
Two boys shared with me that listening to you has given them the hope to know they can
truly make it in life with God.
The next evening following having you with us we had a service up at our lake where
several boys spontaneously stood and shared their story to the entire group.
There was not a dry eye and they didn’t know how to end the night because of the
powerful presence of God there.

Just returned from a mission trip in Peru where we spent a week in one of the
orphanges there.
Amazingly, this book was put into my hands shortly afterwards.
Having had a “hands on” encounter at the Orphanage, this book caused my heart to
break all over again for these little ones, giving me a better grasp and understanding
of what they are going through.
God is using you to open our eyes to the needs around us for “the least of these”.
